Solar Power Plant Calculation
Within the scope of its cooperation with Corlu Leather Specliazed and Mixed Industrial Zone (Organized Industrial Zone), Istanbul Energy will prepare efficiency-improving projects by conducting detailed energy surveys at the administrative building and treatment facility with its expert engineer staff. The General Manager of Istanbul Energy Yüksel Yalçın and the Regional Manager of Corlu Leather Specialized and Mixed OIZ Halil Hız signed an EEC (Energy Efficiency Consultancy) service contract. In the meeting held during the signing ceremony, it was decided to cooperate on energy management issues, which will include energy management, building that generates its energy, transition of the OIZ to renewable energy sources, and energy action plan.
We Expand Our Industrial Network in Energy Efficiency
The General Manager of Istanbul Energy A.S. Yüksel Yalçın said, ‘’Besides our commercial obligations in the corporate field, we will lend assistance in the preparation of an energy action plan within the framework of green transformation as required by our founding mission. We will render information and consultancy services on renewable energy investments to the OIZ (Organized Industrial Zone) and the companies within its body. In all these works, we aim to realize the transition from fossil to renewable energy with OIZs”.
Also, OIZs Should Establish Their Own Energy Management Offices
Pointing out that OIZs should establish their own energy management offices, Yalçın added “We recommend OIZs to establish their energy management offices so that they can plan their energy management and investments more effectively”.
We will Develop a Management Plan for the Transition of OIZ Companies to Renewable Energy
The Regional Manager of Corlu Leather Specialized and Mixed OIZ Halil Hız said, ‘’With this contract, we will manage the energy management of OIZ buildings with Istanbul Energy. However, we will draw a management plan for the transition of OIZ companies to renewable energy, organize this transition in more detail, and put it into practice.’’
