WE ARE ON THE LIST OF FORTUNE TURKEY’S LARGEST 500 COMPANIES!

Fortune Turkey (Fortune Türkiye) magazine has published the highly anticipated “Fortune 500 Research” listing Turkey’s largest companies. In the Fortune 500 Turkey List, a total of 500 companies in different sectors are listed according to their net sales figures in 2021. In the list, as Istanbul Energy, we ranked 29th in the “Energy Sector” category, 16th in the fastest growing companies category, and 436th in the general ranking.

Our General Manager Yüksel Yalçın said: “We are proud to be among the 500 largest companies in Fortune Turkey, which was announced for the 15th time this year by Fortune, one of the world’s leading business magazines. Despite the challenging economic conditions, we continue to work to provide the best service to 16 million residents in Istanbul, Turkey”. Yalçın also stated that their goal is to rank higher in the next years and added: “I would like to thank Istanbul Energy employees and all my colleagues for this pride.” Yalçın concluded his speech by saying “I would like to congratulate our other İBB Subsidiaries, İGDAŞ, İSPER, KİPTAŞ, İSTAÇ, Metro İstanbul, İSFALT, and İSTGÜVEN, which are included in the Fortune 500 Turkey list, for their success”.

There are 8 subsidiaries of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in “Fortune 500 Turkey”, where companies have the opportunity to measure their performance and see their place in the sector within the framework of the same criteria.
