Istanbul Energy held an “Energy Workshop” with Silivri SİAD (Silivri Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association) on Wednesday, February 23 at Seymen Energy Production Facility. In the event where 60 industrial companies were hosted, Istanbul Energy AŞ General Manager Yüksel Yalçın and Silivri SİAD President Hakan Kocabaş signed a cooperation protocol on energy investments and energy efficiency consultancy services. With the protocol, Istanbul Energy became a member of the association and an energy desk was established within Silivri SİAD. Istanbul Energy’s expert engineer staff answered questions on energy issues during bilateral meetings with industrialists from Silivri. Yıldız Technical University City and Regional Planning Department Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Özbakır made her presentation on “Energy Efficient Planning and Climate Change”.
