A 19.8 kWp Solar Power Plant with a 300 m² area continues to operate on the roof of the İstanbul Water Coordination Center building.

A total of 66 monocrystalline photovoltaic solar panels, each 300 Wp, have been installed on the roof, along with a single 20 kW inverter. The electricity generated by this solar power plant is used to meet the internal energy needs of the facility.

The solar power plant installed at the İstanbul Water Coordination Center can supply the annual electricity needs of 17 households, preventing 13.5 tons of CO2 emissions per year. This is equivalent to removing 11 cars from traffic or planting 347 trees, providing significant environmental benefits.
