The Hidayet Türkoğlu Sports Complex rooftop solar power plant, with an installed capacity of 169 kWe, became operational in December 2016. The total installation area of the plant is approximately 1,000 m². The solar power plant consists of 650 polycrystalline photovoltaic panels of 260 W each and meets approximately 10% of the sports facility’s energy needs.
This rooftop solar power plant generates enough electricity to meet the annual energy needs of 142 households and prevents 115 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. This provides an environmental benefit equivalent to removing 95 vehicles from traffic and planting 2,900 trees.
We are striving to implement energy investments and programs in line with sustainable, technological, and clean energy policies, primarily with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, as well as the public and private sectors.
