Under the “Protocol for the Installation of Solar Power Plants on Building Roofs within the Scope of Urban Transformation in the Reserved Area of İsmetpaşa Neighborhood, Bayrampaşa District, Istanbul”, signed on June 19, 2018, between the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, İstanbul Konut İmar Plan Turizm Ulaşım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and our company, the installation of the solar power plant has commenced. The total installed area is 14,000 m².
Under the “Protocol for the Installation of Solar Power Plants on Building Roofs within the Scope of Urban Transformation in the Reserved Area of İsmetpaşa Neighborhood, Bayrampaşa District, Istanbul”, signed on June 19, 2018, between the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, İstanbul Konut İmar Plan Turizm Ulaşım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and our company, the installation of the solar power plant was initiated. The total installed area is 14,000 m².
As part of the urban transformation project, the solar power plant with a total capacity of 1,255.2 kWp was installed on the rooftops of 23 blocks, and the installation was completed as of May 2019. The solar power plant comprises 4,184 solar panels of 300W each, 16 inverters of 27.6 kW, 30 inverters of 25 kW, 2,095 power optimizers of 600W, and a 76-ton structural system to support all equipment.
The solar power plant established within the urban transformation project has the capacity to meet the annual electricity needs of 1,054 households, preventing 854.1 tons of CO2 emissions per year. This environmental benefit is equivalent to removing 704 vehicles from traffic or planting 21,900 trees.
