Leading environmentally friendly projects with its sustainability vision, İstanbul Enerji has undertaken a significant collaboration for the green transformation of Çatalca.
Under the protocol signed with Çatalca Municipality, projects will be implemented within the scope of the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) to increase energy efficiency in the district, reduce carbon emissions, and set an example in combating climate change.
The protocol signing ceremony took place at Çatalca Municipality’s Nazım Özbay Cultural Center, attended by our General Manager Dr. Yüksel Yalçın and Çatalca Mayor Erhan Güzel. During the ceremony, the collaboration was highlighted as a key initiative supporting sustainable development, reducing environmental impacts, and modernizing the energy infrastructure.
Our General Manager Dr. Yüksel Yalçın stated in his speech:

Concrete Steps for Environmentally Friendly Transformation Within the scope of the protocol, initiatives promoting energy savings, the use of renewable energy sources, and projects aimed at raising environmental awareness will be developed. The district’s existing energy infrastructure will be reviewed and modernized, and innovative solutions will be implemented to reduce carbon emissions.
This project will not only reduce the region’s environmental impact but also promote community engagement. The gains achieved in Çatalca’s energy transformation will contribute to Istanbul as a whole, in line with our sustainability vision.
