Istanbul Energy continues to strengthen its collaborations with local governments, academic institutions, and industry representatives as part of its sustainable energy transition and environmentally friendly projects. In line with this, the initiatives carried out under the “Energy Investments, Management, and Training Activities Cooperation Protocol” signed with Altınbaş University two years ago are ongoing. To emphasize the continuity of this partnership, a joint visit was conducted to Altınbaş University in collaboration with the Çatalca Municipality.
During the visit, Altınbaş University Board of Trustees Chairman Mr. İmam Altınbaş, Secretary General Mr. Selçuk Uysaler, Çatalca Mayor Mr. Erhan Güzel, and Istanbul Energy CEO Dr. Yüksel Yalçın came together. The meeting focused on energy efficiency, food security, agriculture, and livestock within the framework of a sustainable local governance approach. Mr. İmam Altınbaş shared his assessments regarding the university’s sectoral integration process and potential joint projects to be developed with local governments.
The program concluded with a tour of the university campus. Istanbul Energy extends its gratitude to the Altınbaş University Board of Trustees for hosting this meaningful meeting, to the Çatalca Mayor for his contributions, and to all participants.
