İstanbul Enerji Achieves Strong Rankings in Fortune Turkey’s “Top 500 Companies” List
Fortune Turkey magazine has published its highly anticipated Fortune 500 Research, ranking the largest companies in Turkey based on 2021 net sales figures across various sectors.
In this prestigious list, İstanbul Enerji secured:
29th place in the Energy Sector category
16th place among the fastest-growing companies
436th place in the overall ranking
Commenting on the achievement, our General Manager Yüksel Yalçın stated: “We are proud to be included among the Top 500 companies in Turkey, as announced in the 15th edition of Fortune’s globally respected business ranking. Despite challenging economic conditions, we continue to work tirelessly to provide the best possible service to 16 million Istanbul residents. Our goal for the coming years is to climb even higher in the rankings. Yalçın also congratulated the other İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality subsidiaries that made it into the Fortune 500 Turkey list — İGDAŞ, İSPER, KİPTAŞ, İSTAÇ, Metro İstanbul, İSFALT, and İSTGÜVEN — for their achievements.
The Fortune 500 Turkey list provides companies with the opportunity to measure their performance against the same criteria and evaluate their position in the sector. This year, eight subsidiaries of the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality were represented in the rankings.
