Şakirin Mosque, one of the modern mosques of Turkey is located in Üsküdar district of Istanbul, in the entrance of Karacaahmet Cemetery.

The mosque 3 sides of which are surrounded with glass is installed on a ground of 3.000 square meters and it has a big garden in addition to the yard. It has two minarets each with a height of 35 meters.

Armatures of different color hotness have been used in the lighting of Şakirin Mosque depending on its front structural and color properties. The armatures which have blue color light source in the main dome lighting with its avant-garde colors and materials, armatures of sun light color in the minarets and the yard and white linear lighting components were used in the ambient lighting.
