İSKİ Elevation Stations Solar Power Plants

It has been started to install a solar power plant with total installed power of 2,7 MW in 7 different locations of İSKİ through the cooperation of İSKİ and İstanbul Enerji A.Ş.

It operates in an area of 31.900m² in İSKİ Eşref Bitlis Paşa Depot and Elevation Center, İSKİ Esenyalı Elevation Center, Ferhat Paşa Elevation Center, Kağıthane Refining and Elevation Center, İSKİ Kartal Elevation Center, İSKİ Battalgazi Elevation Center, İSKİ Büyükçekmece Refining Facilities.

Totally 8690 310W monocrystal solar panels, 19 serial inverters of 100 kW, 3 serial inverters of 50 kW, 3 serial inverters of 27,6 kW, 1 central inverter of 536 kW and 6.232 concrete foots and a construction system weighed 178 tons which will carry such equipment have been used in the plants put into service as of February 2020. Furthermore a double axis solar tracker having 20 monocrystal solar panels with 310Wp power on them have been installed in the garden of İSKİ Directorate General.

The solar power plants installed for the purpose of responding the energy requirements of İSKİ from clean and renewable energy sources have a power that could respond the annual electricity requirement of 2.300 households and prevent 1.850 tons of CO2 emission annually. This provides environmental benefit equivalent to withdrawal of 1.500 vehicles from the traffic.
