Bayrampaşa Urban Transformation Project Rooftop Solar Power

Installation of a Solar Power Plant was started through the “Protocol for Installation of Solar Power Plant on the Building Roofs Constructed within the Scope of the Urban Transformation Located in the Reserve Are in the Province of Istanbul, County of Bayrampaşa, District of İsmetpaşa” signed by and between the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul İstanbul Konut İmar Plan Turizm Ulaşım Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.Ş. and our company on 19.06.2018. The total installation area is 14000m².

The installation of the solar power plant with total power of 1.255,2 kWp on the roofs of 23 blocks constructed within the scope of the urban transformation was completed as of May 2019. Totally 4.184 solar panels of 300W, 16 inverters of 27,6 kW, 30 inverters of 25 kW, 2.095 power optimizers of 600W and a construction system weighed 76 tons which will carry such equipment have been used in the Solar Power Plant.

The Solar Power Plant installed within the scope of the urban transformation has a power that could respond the annual electricity requirement of 1.054 households and prevents 854,1 tons of CO2 emission annually. This provides environmental benefit equivalent to withdrawal of 704 vehicles from the traffic or planting 21.900 trees.
