9 kWp Parking Lot Top SPP Installation

A parking lot top Solar Power of Plant of 9 kWp has been installed in the parking lot of Bayrampaşa campus of the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul, Energy Management and Lighting Directorate. The total installed area is 50m².

30 perc. monocrystal photovoltaic solar panels of 300 Wp have been placed in the parking lot top Solar Power of Plant of 9 kWp and 1 inverter of 8,2 kW has been used. The electrical power generated from the Solar Power Plant in question is used in the electrical vehicle charging station installed in the parking lot.

The Solar Power Plant installed on the parking lot has a power that could respond the annual electricity requirement of 8 households and prevents 6,1 tons of CO2 emission annually. This provides environmental benefit equivalent to withdrawal of 5 vehicles from the traffic or planting 158 trees.
